Dubois County Bombers Takes A Tough Blow From Muhlenberg County Stallions

It was a tough day on Friday for Dubois County Bombers, who lost 9-3 to Muhlenberg County Stallions

Dubois County Bombers opened up scoring in the first inning. Dubois County Bombers scored one run when Mason Landers singled.

Muhlenberg County Stallions pulled away for good with three runs in the third inning. In the third Nick Lucido singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run and Bentley Boekhout doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs.

Muhlenberg County Stallions scored four runs in the fourth inning. Colin Cornwell, Lucido, and Mason Lundgrin all drove in runs in the frame.

Dalton Cameron was the winning pitcher for Muhlenberg County Stallions. The righty lasted six innings, allowing six hits and two runs while striking out six and walking one. Jaydon Stephens and Nathan McKissick entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.

Tyler Wheeler took the loss for Dubois County Bombers. The pitcher lasted four innings, allowing eight hits and seven runs while striking out three.

Dubois County Bombers tallied eight hits in the game. Brett PfaadtAdam Euler, and Tucker Schank all managed multiple hits for Dubois County Bombers. Schank, Euler, and Pfaadt all had two hits to lead Dubois County Bombers.

Muhlenberg County Stallions totaled 12 hits. Cornwell, Lucido, Brandon Scheurer, and Boekhout each managed multiple hits for Muhlenberg County Stallions. Cornwell went 3-for-6 at the plate to lead Muhlenberg County Stallions in hits.
