Dubois County Bombers ran off with the lead late in the game in an 8-7 victory over Hoptown Hoppers on Saturday. The game was tied at seven with Dubois County Bombers batting in the bottom of the eighth when Conner Oxley drew a walk, scoring one run.

Hoptown Hoppers scored four runs in the second inning, but Dubois County Bombers still managed to pull out the victory. The big inning for Hoptown Hoppers came thanks to a walk by Riley Garczynski and a double by Jake Parr.

Hoptown Hoppers captured the lead in the second inning. Parr drove in three when Parr doubled.

In the top of the seventh inning, Hoptown Hoppers tied things up at seven. Tanner Holliman singled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run.

Carter Stamm was the winning pitcher for Dubois County Bombers. The righthander surrendered three runs on three hits over five innings, striking out six.

Garrett Sagro took the loss for Hoptown Hoppers. The lefthander.

Colby Downard started the game for Hoptown Hoppers. The lefty lasted five innings, allowing six hits and five runs while striking out two Conner Fries started the game for Dubois County Bombers. The righty lasted four innings, allowing two hits and four runs

Dubois County Bombers racked up nine hits. Kevin Butler and Oxley each collected multiple hits for Dubois County Bombers. Oxley and Butler each collected two hits to lead Dubois County Bombers. Payton Hall led Dubois County Bombers with three stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with seven stolen bases.

Parr went 2-for-5 at the plate to lead Hoptown Hoppers in hits.
