An early lead helped Muhlenberg County Stallions defeat Fulton Railroaders 5-1 on Saturday. Muhlenberg County Stallions scored on a double by Bentley Boekhout and a single by Eric Hartless in the second inning.

Muhlenberg County Stallions pulled away for good with two runs in the second inning. In the second Boekhout doubled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run and Hartless singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.

Nick Casey got the win for Muhlenberg County Stallions. The righty went seven innings, allowing one run on three hits, striking out nine and walking one. Derek Bolander threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen. Bolander recorded the last six outs to earn the save for Muhlenberg County Stallions.

Cody Medley took the loss for Fulton Railroaders. The pitcher lasted five innings, allowing four hits and two runs.

Muhlenberg County Stallions racked up seven hits on the day. Tanner Bray and Colin Cornwell each managed multiple hits for Muhlenberg County Stallions. Cornwell and Bray all had two hits to lead Muhlenberg County Stallions.
