Henderson Flash took the lead late and defeated Madisonville Miners 9-6 on Saturday. The game was tied at six with Henderson Flash batting in the bottom of the eighth when Cody Schultz tripled on a 1-1 count, scoring two runs.

Both offenses were strong at the plate as Henderson Flash collected ten hits and Madisonville Miners six in the high-scoring affair

Colby Knutzen pitched Henderson Flash to victory. Knutzen allowed zero hits and zero runs over one and two-thirds innings, striking out three and walking zero. Tyler Schultz and Blake Ciuffetelli entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief. Ciuffetelli recorded the last three outs to earn the save for Henderson Flash.

Michael Lindsey took the loss for Madisonville Miners. The righty allowed one hit and two runs walking one.

Wyatt Griskey started the game for Madisonville Miners. Griskey surrendered four runs on two hits over two and two-thirds innings Brendan Moody started the game for Henderson Flash. The righty surrendered three runs on three hits over five innings, striking out five and walking zero
