Fulton Railroaders Can't Catch Up To Muhlenberg County Stallions

Fulton Railroaders fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 9-3 loss to Muhlenberg County Stallions on Sunday. Muhlenberg County Stallions scored on a error in the first inning, a single by Eli Burkhart in the first inning, a walk by Zach Chowansky in the first inning, and a home run by Parker Stroh in the second inning.

The Fulton Railroaders struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Muhlenberg County Stallions, giving up nine runs.

Muhlenberg County Stallions opened up scoring in the first inning, when an error scored one run for Muhlenberg County Stallions.

Dom Pieto was the winning pitcher for Muhlenberg County Stallions. The pitcher allowed six hits and one run over six and a third innings, striking out seven. Jaydon Stephens and Isaac Rose entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.

Keyshawn Mays took the loss for Fulton Railroaders. The righthander went one and two-thirds innings, allowing six runs on six hits and striking out one.

Fulton Railroaders socked one home run on the day. Seth Gardner put one out in the eighth inning.

Gardner went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Fulton Railroaders in hits.

Muhlenberg County Stallions collected 11 hits. Mason LundgrinBentley Boekhout, and Stroh each managed multiple hits for Muhlenberg County Stallions.
