Dubois County Bombers Stymied By Full Count Rhythm, Lose 14-2

Dubois County Bombers struggled to get their offense going on Sunday, getting easily dispatched by Full Count Rhythm, 14-2.

Full Count Rhythm got on the board in the first inning. Christian Smith grounded out, scoring one run.

In the bottom of the first inning, Dubois County Bombers tied things up at one when Dalton Kendrick induced Mason White to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored.

Full Count Rhythm pulled away for good with two runs in the third inning. In the third Smith doubled on a 0-1 count, scoring two runs.

Full Count Rhythm scored nine runs in the fifth inning. Tyler Thompson, Carlos Lara, Brennan DuBose, Jackson Hannon, Thompson, and Matthew Batts each had RBIs in the frame.

Kendrick earned the win for Full Count Rhythm. The lefthander surrendered two runs on four hits over six innings, striking out seven. Will Newell threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Brennan Murphy took the loss for Dubois County Bombers. Murphy lasted four and a third innings, allowing ten hits and eight runs while walking zero.

Guy Lipscomb led Dubois County Bombers with two hits in four at bats.

Full Count Rhythm tallied 17 hits on the day. Hannon, Smith, Travis Reaves, Batts, and Thompson each had multiple hits for Full Count Rhythm. Hannon went 4-for-5 at the plate to lead Full Count Rhythm in hits.
