Muhlenberg County Stallions Can't Hold Up Against Full Count Rhythm

Muhlenberg County Stallions struggled to get their offense going on Thursday, getting easily dispatched by Full Count Rhythm, 8-2.

Full Count Rhythm scored four runs in the ninth inning. Full Count Rhythm batters contributing to the big inning included Tyler Littlefield, Tyler Thompson, Matthew Batts, and Carlos Lara, who all drove in runs.

Austin Nichols earned the victory on the hill for Full Count Rhythm. The righty surrendered one run on two hits over six innings, striking out eight. Hunter Steger and Kyle Magrans entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief. Magrans recorded the last four outs to earn the save for Full Count Rhythm.

Nathan McKissick took the loss for Muhlenberg County Stallions. McKissick went five innings, allowing four runs on eight hits, striking out four, and walking one.

Scott Rouse started the game for Muhlenberg County Stallions. The righthander lasted one inning, allowing zero hits and zero runs while striking out one and walking zero

Full Count Rhythm hit two home runs on the day. Zach Boze had a homer in the sixth inning. Batts put one out in the fourth inning.

Noah Phillips went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead Muhlenberg County Stallions in hits.

Full Count Rhythm collected 12 hits. Boze, Batts, and Harrison Travis all had multiple hits for Full Count Rhythm.
