Owensboro RiverDawgs lost the lead late in a 7-5 defeat to Fulton Railroaders on Sunday. The game was tied at five with Fulton Railroaders batting in the top of the ninth when Grant Davis singled on a 1-0 count, scoring two runs.

Fulton Railroaders got things moving in the second inning, when Jacob Rochester singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run.

After Fulton Railroaders scored one run in the top of the sixth, Owensboro RiverDawgs answered with one of their own. Fulton Railroaders scored when Patrick Music grounded out, scoring one run. Owensboro RiverDawgs then answered when Jacob Robertt singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run.

Owensboro RiverDawgs scored three runs in the seventh inning. David Jeffers and Paul Coumoulos powered the big inning with RBIs.

Kaden Hill got the win for Fulton Railroaders. The righty lasted two innings, allowing zero hits and zero runs while striking out three and walking one. Tristian Camp threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Westin Stutzman took the loss for Owensboro RiverDawgs. Stutzman allowed three hits and three runs over one inning, striking out three and walking one.

Seti Manase started the game for Fulton Railroaders. The right-hander allowed eight hits and two runs over six innings, striking out six and walking one Chase Harlan started the game for Owensboro RiverDawgs. The righty surrendered three runs on seven hits over five innings, striking out one

Owensboro RiverDawgs totaled 12 hits. Coumoulos, Kail Hill, and Steven Diaz all collected multiple hits for Owensboro RiverDawgs. Coumoulos went 3-for-5 at the plate to lead Owensboro RiverDawgs in hits.

Fulton Railroaders collected 11 hits on the day. Davis, Alex Langford, and Britt Netterville each racked up multiple hits for Fulton Railroaders. Fulton Railroaders didn't commit a single error in the field. Langford had the most chances in the field with ten.
