Hoptown Hoppers fell behind early and couldn't come back in an 8-3 loss to Full Count Rhythm on Wednesday. Full Count Rhythm took the lead on a home run in the first inning.

Full Count Rhythm got on the board in the first inning. Matthew Batts drove in three when Batts homered.

Full Count Rhythm scored four runs in the eighth inning. The big inning for Full Count Rhythm came thanks to doubles by Carlos Lara and Travis Reaves.

Tyler Sills pitched Full Count Rhythm to victory. The right-hander went four innings, allowing zero runs on one hit, striking out three, and walking zero. Drew Robertson threw one-third of an inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Jonathan Beymer took the loss for Hoptown Hoppers. The right-hander allowed four hits and four runs over five and two-thirds innings, striking out seven.

Will Newell started the game for Full Count Rhythm. The righty went four and two-thirds innings, allowing two runs on four hits, striking out six, and walking one

Hoptown Hoppers collected six hits. Noah Brown and Tanner Holliman each racked up multiple hits for Hoptown Hoppers. Holliman and Brown each collected two hits to lead Hoptown Hoppers.

Full Count Rhythm tallied eight hits. Zach Boze and Harrison Travis all collected multiple hits for Full Count Rhythm. Boze went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Full Count Rhythm in hits. Full Count Rhythm was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Blake Barton had the most chances in the field with eight.
