Full Count Rhythm defeat the Hoptown Hoppers, 8-3
Hoptown Hoppers fell behind early and couldn't come back in an 8-3 loss to Full Count Rhythm on Wednesday. Full Count Rhythm took the lead on a home run in the first inning.
Full Count Rhythm got on the board in the first inning. Matthew Batts drove in three when Batts homered.
Full Count Rhythm scored four runs in the eighth inning. The big inning for Full Count Rhythm came thanks to doubles by Carlos Lara and Travis Reaves.
Tyler Sills pitched Full Count Rhythm to victory. The right-hander went four innings, allowing zero runs on one hit, striking out three, and walking zero. Drew Robertson threw one-third of an inning in relief out of the bullpen.
Jonathan Beymer took the loss for Hoptown Hoppers. The right-hander allowed four hits and four runs over five and two-thirds innings, striking out seven.
