Fulton Railroaders Falls To Franklin Duelers

Franklin Duelers took the lead for good with five runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth Joey Johnston singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run, Benny Hymes homered on a 1-2 count, scoring three runs, and Luis Perez singled on a 3-1 count, scoring one run.

Aaron Hammer was credited with the victory for Franklin Duelers. The pitcher lasted five innings, allowing one hit and two runs while striking out eight. Pat Coleman and Jaxson Lucas entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief. Lucas recorded the last three outs to earn the save for Franklin Duelers.

Adam Weihe took the loss for Fulton Railroaders. The pitcher allowed four hits and three runs over three innings, striking out three.

Fulton Railroaders tallied one home run on the day. Jarret Fowlkes had a long ball in the seventh inning.

Yosnsell Diaz went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead Fulton Railroaders in hits.

Franklin Duelers tallied 11 hits. Hymes, Johnston, Jared Kirkman, and Lance Upright all managed multiple hits for Franklin Duelers. Hymes led Franklin Duelers with three hits in four at-bats.
