Langford Shines At The Plate In Fulton Railroaders Victory Over Dubois County Bombers

Alex Langford had the hot hand on Sunday, tallying four hits and leading Fulton Railroaders to an 18-8 victory over Dubois County Bombers. Langford singled in the first, homered in the second, homered in the fourth, and singled in the sixth.

Both pitching staffs had their hands full, frequently dealing with runners on base. Fulton Railroaders collected 13 hits and Dubois County Bombers had 11.

Dubois County Bombers got on the board in the first inning when Adam Euler singled on the first pitch of the at-bat, scoring one run.

Fulton Railroaders socked four home runs on the day. Langford had a dinger in the second and fourth innings. Netterville had a homer in the third inning. Grant Davis had a four-bagger in the first inning.

Fulton Railroaders tallied 13 hits in the game. Langford, Davis, Seth Gardner, and Netterville all had multiple hits for Fulton Railroaders. Langford led Fulton Railroaders with four hits in four at-bats.

Dubois County Bombers tallied 11 hits. Blayden McMahelMason Landers, Euler, and Drew Taylor each racked up multiple hits for Dubois County Bombers. McMahel went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Dubois County Bombers in hits. Dubois County Bombers tore up the base paths, as two players stole at least two bases. McMahel led the way with two.
