Henderson Flash Runs Away With Early Lead In Victory

Madisonville Miners fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 7-4 loss to Henderson Flash on Saturday. Henderson Flash scored on a home run by Trevor Campbell in the first inning, a groundout by Brandon Boxer in the first inning, and a sacrifice fly by Andrew Dalton in the second inning.

Madisonville Miners lost despite out-hitting Henderson Flash 14 to ten.

Henderson Flash got on the board in the first inning. Campbell homered on a 3-2 count, scoring two runs.

Kobe Matsen was the winning pitcher for Henderson Flash. The pitcher surrendered zero runs on three hits over two and two-thirds innings, striking out three. Dylan Beier and Joel Archer entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief. Beier recorded the last five outs to earn the save for Henderson Flash.

Nick Lallathin took the loss for Madisonville Miners. The lefty lasted three and third innings, allowing four hits and seven runs while striking out two.

Ethan Shafer started the game for Henderson Flash. The hurler allowed seven hits and four runs over four and third innings, striking out three and walking one

Madisonville Miners racked up 14 hits on the day. Brennen Hunt, Brennon Williams, Reed LatimerJustin Ramirez, and Evan Liddie each managed multiple hits for Madisonville Miners. Hunt went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Madisonville Miners in hits.

Henderson Flash collected ten hits on the day. Cody SchultzNoah Nelson, and Boxer all had multiple hits for Henderson Flash. Henderson Flash was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Nelson had the most chances in the field with eight.
