Franklin Duelers weathered a scare by Muhlenberg County Stallions in the seventh inning where Franklin Duelers coughed up three runs, but Franklin Duelers still won 8-4 on Monday. Muhlenberg County Stallions scored its runs on a single by Kevin Sosa.

Franklin Duelers got on the board in the first inning. Rashard Grace drove in one when Grace singled.

Jacob Hernandez took the win for Franklin Duelers. The ace surrendered one run on four hits over five innings, striking out five and walking zero. Jonathon Burns and Jacob Lassiat entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief. Lassiat recorded the last six outs to earn the save for Franklin Duelers.

Manning Webb took the loss for Muhlenberg County Stallions. The lefthander surrendered four runs on seven hits over three innings, striking out one and walking one.

Franklin Duelers racked up 14 hits in the game. Grace, Quincy Smith II, Rashaad Robinson, Bryce Cape, Jackson Norris, and Johnathon Evans each had multiple hits for Franklin Duelers. Grace led Franklin Duelers with three hits in four at bats.

Justin Massingale went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead Muhlenberg County Stallions in hits.
