Henderson Flash snagged a late lead and defeated Fulton Railroaders 7-6 on Wednesday. The game was tied at six with Henderson Flash batting in the bottom of the eighth when Ben Berenda's sac fly scored one run for Henderson Flash.

Henderson Flash collected seven hits and Fulton Railroaders had eight in the high-scoring affair.

Henderson Flash got things started in the first inning. Nick Rucker drove in two when Rucker singled.

After Fulton Railroaders scored one run in the top of the seventh, Henderson Flash answered with one of their own. Fulton Railroaders scored when Wesley Mann singled on the first pitch of the at-bat, scoring one run.

Nolan Patterson was the winning pitcher for Henderson Flash. The lefty went two-thirds of an inning, allowing zero runs on zero hits and striking out two. Nick Coleman, Adam Weihe, and J.D. Willis all put in work in relief out of the bullpen, steering their team towards the victory.

Brandon Jernigan took the loss for Fulton Railroaders. The hurler went two innings, allowing three runs on two hits, striking out three, and walking one.

Sam Poindexter started the game for Fulton Railroaders. Poindexter allowed five hits and four runs over six innings, striking out four Blake Ciuffetelli started the game for Henderson Flash. Ciuffetelli surrendered two runs on three hits over four innings, striking out six

Payton Matthews went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Henderson Flash in hits.
