Paducah Chiefs defeated Muhlenberg County Stallions 9-5 on Wednesday after taking the lead late in the game. The game was tied at three with Paducah Chiefs batting in the bottom of the seventh when Krayton Morse doubled on a 3-2 count, scoring two runs.

Muhlenberg County Stallions opened up scoring in the first inning. Muhlenberg County Stallions scored one run when Mack Clark doubled.

Kyler Carmack pitched Paducah Chiefs to victory. The hurler surrendered zero runs on one hit over two and a third innings, striking out three. Ben Hargrove threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Henry Thornton took the loss for Muhlenberg County Stallions. Thornton went two-thirds of an inning, allowing six runs on three hits.

Payton Henley started the game for Paducah Chiefs. Henley lasted five and two-thirds innings, allowing four hits and three runs while striking out four Kail Hill started the game for Muhlenberg County Stallions. The right-hander lasted five innings, allowing three hits and two runs while striking out nine

Paducah Chiefs tallied nine hits in the game. Slater Schield, Tucker Love, and Morse all managed multiple hits for Paducah Chiefs. Morse, Love, and Schield all had two hits to lead Paducah Chiefs.

Clark led Muhlenberg County Stallions with two hits in four at-bats.
