Paducah Chiefs Can't Catch Up To Hoptown Hoppers
Paducah Chiefs fell behind early and couldn't come back in an 8-4 loss to Hoptown Hoppers on Thursday. Hoptown Hoppers scored on a walk by Joshua Rodriguez, a walk by Ronald Brown, a walk by Drew Donaldson, and a walk by Jacob Dupps in the second inning.
Hoptown Hoppers got things moving in the second inning. Rodriguez drew a walk, scoring one run.
David Ernst pitched Hoptown Hoppers to victory. Ernst went five innings, allowing one run on three hits and striking out three. Chase Harlan threw four innings in relief out of the bullpen.
