Fulton Railroaders lost the lead late in a 7-5 defeat to Hoptown Hoppers on Saturday. The game was tied at five with Hoptown Hoppers batting in the top of the tenth when Luis Vergara-Schoonewolf doubled on a 1-0 count, scoring two runs.

Fulton Railroaders got things started in the first inning. Brady Holloway singled on a 3-1 count, scoring one run.

In the bottom of the ninth inning, Fulton Railroaders tied things up at five. Fulton Railroaders scored one run when Holloway singled.

Aaron Moss led the Hoptown Hoppers to victory on the hill. The righthander went one and one-third innings, allowing zero runs on one hit, striking out one, and walking one. Chase Harlan threw three and two-thirds innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Jordyn Naranjo took the loss for Fulton Railroaders. Naranjo went one inning, allowing four runs on one hit and striking out two.

Zach Duenas started the game for Hoptown Hoppers. Duenas surrendered four runs on four hits over five innings, striking out seven Sam Poindexter started the game for Fulton Railroaders. The pitcher allowed seven hits and three runs over five innings, striking out three
