Henderson Flash Loses Lead Early In Defeat

Henderson Flash watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 5-1 loss to Dubois County Bombers on Monday. Dubois County Bombers took the lead on a double in the second inning.

Dubois County Bombers got things started in the second inning when Connor Oxley doubled on the first pitch of the at-bat, scoring two runs.

Gavin Morris earned the win for Dubois County Bombers. The righty allowed three hits and one run over seven innings, striking out ten. Cory Anderson and David Ellison entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief. Anderson recorded the last three outs to earn the save for Dubois County Bombers.

Zach Thomas took the loss for Henderson Flash. The right-hander allowed four hits and three runs over five innings, striking out four.

Casey Sorg, Colton Evans, and Ryan Dos Santos each collected one hit to lead Henderson Flash.

Camden Gasser led Dubois County Bombers with three hits in four at-bats.
