Paducah Chiefs Clinches Lead In Eighth Inning To Defeat Fulton Railroaders

Paducah Chiefs defeated Fulton Railroaders 11-8 on Thursday after taking the lead late in the game. The game was tied at eight with Paducah Chiefs batting in the bottom of the eighth when an error scored one run for Paducah Chiefs.

Paducah Chiefs earned the victory despite allowing Fulton Railroaders to score five runs in the second inning. Fulton Railroaders offense in the inning was led by Tasso Foster, Jaxson Norris, and Carter Davis, all knocking in runs in the inning.

Fulton Railroaders got on the board in the first inning when Norris singled on a 2-1 count, scoring two runs.

David Limbach was the winning pitcher for Paducah Chiefs. Limbach lasted four innings, allowing one hit and zero runs while striking out eight and walking one. Jack Bell threw three and a third innings in relief out of the bullpen.
