Scorekeepers were kept busy today during a high-scoring contest between Paducah Chiefs and Bowling Green Pistons where Paducah Chiefs prevailed 11-7.

Paducah Chiefs got on the board in the second inning when Nathan Lang singled on a 2-1 count, scoring two runs.

Paducah Chiefs notched three runs in the third inning. Noah Boon and Bryant Byrd each had RBIs in the frame.

Bowling Green Pistons scored three runs in the ninth inning. Bowling Green Pistons big bats were led by Donnell Sandifer and Jorey Anderson, all driving in runs in the inning.

Bishop Woods was the winning pitcher for Paducah Chiefs. The pitcher lasted four innings, allowing two hits and two runs while striking out one.

Dotson took the loss for Bowling Green Pistons. The bulldog went five innings, allowing eight runs on six hits and striking out four.

Paducah Chiefs totaled eight hits in the game. Will Gibbs and Sam Kestranek each had multiple hits for Paducah Chiefs. Kestranek and Gibbs all had two hits to lead Paducah Chiefs.

Kalcey White went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Bowling Green Pistons in hits. Thomas Barnhart led Bowling Green Pistons with two stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with six stolen bases.
