Henderson Flash Takes The Game Over Bowling Green Pistons In A Blow-Out Victory, 18-2

 

Henderson Flash won big over Bowling Green Pistons 18-2 on Friday.

In the second inning, Bowling Green Pistons got their offense started when Isaac Whitaker drew a walk, scoring one run.

Henderson Flash pulled away for good with four runs in the third inning. In the third Brady Morse's sac fly scored one run for Henderson Flash, Luke Scales doubled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run, Jacob Lester singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run, and an error scored one run for Henderson Flash.

Henderson Flash notched eight runs in the sixth inning. Henderson Flash offense in the inning was led by Morse, Ellis Hurt, Crawford Courville, Collin Helms, and Andrew Lee, all driving in runs in the frame.

Holton Compton was the winning pitcher for Henderson Flash. The pitcher surrendered two runs on one hit over four and two-thirds innings, striking out five. Owen Payne threw two and a third innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Shannon Martin took the loss for Bowling Green Pistons. The pitcher allowed four hits and four runs over three innings, striking out one and walking one.
