Henderson Flash scores more runs than Hoptown Hoppers, takes victory on Monday to the tune of 5-2

Henderson Flash fired up the offense in the second inning. Henderson Flash scored one run when Charlie Rife doubled.

Henderson Flash tallied three runs in the third inning. Brady Morse and Ellis Hurt all drove in runs in the frame.

Adam Weihe pitched Henderson Flash to victory. Weihe lasted three innings, allowing two hits and zero runs while striking out two and walking zero. Luke Scales and Lucas Quezada entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief. Scales recorded the last three outs to earn the save for Henderson Flash.

Jack McGuire took the loss for Hoptown Hoppers. McGuire went two and two-thirds innings, allowing four runs on five hits and striking out five.

Josh Kuhns started the game for Henderson Flash. The pitcher surrendered zero runs on three hits over four innings, striking out four and walking zero
