Paducah Chiefs jumped out to an early lead over Clarksville WhirlyBirdz and took home a 12-4 victory on Sunday. Paducah Chiefs scored on a home run by Brayman Fraasman, a walk by Austin Krider, and a single by Gunnar Bingham in the second inning.
Paducah Chiefs pulled away for good with four runs in the second inning. In the second Fraasman hit a solo homer, Krider drew a walk, scoring one run, and Bingham singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs.
Paducah Chiefs notched five runs in the sixth inning. Gage Griggs, Noah Boon, and Krider each had RBIs in the big inning.
Bryant Byrd pitched Paducah Chiefs to victory. Byrd went six innings, allowing three runs on five hits and striking out three. David Limbach threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.
