Fulton Railroaders Can't Catch Up To Louisville Jockeys

Fulton Railroaders fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 6-2 loss to Louisville Jockeys on Wednesday. Louisville Jockeys scored on a home run by Austin Taylor in the first inning, a walk by Kannon Stull in the first inning, and a sacrifice fly by William Lybrook in the second inning.

Fulton Railroaders lost despite out-hitting Louisville Jockeys 12 to ten.

Louisville Jockeys opened up scoring in the first inning, when Taylor hit a solo homer.

Louisville Jockeys scored three runs in the seventh inning. The big inning for Louisville Jockeys came thanks to by Stull, a groundout by Mason Grant, and an error on a ball put in play by Taylor.

Gavin Gentry led the Louisville Jockeys to victory on the hill. The pitcher allowed seven hits and one run over four and a third innings, striking out two. Jack Perdue, Conner Fries, and Dawson Hope all put in work in relief out of the bullpen, steering their team towards the victory.

Angel Larranza took the loss for Fulton Railroaders. The hurler lasted three innings, allowing seven hits and three runs while striking out four and walking one.

Fulton Railroaders racked up 12 hits in the game. Charlie Ferbet, Garner Anderson, Jimmy Manzella, and Jackson Garrett each had multiple hits for Fulton Railroaders. Anderson and Ferbet each collected three hits to lead Fulton Railroaders.

Louisville Jockeys had ten hits in the game. Bailey Hale, Jarrett Chapman, and Taylor all managed multiple hits for Louisville Jockeys. Hale went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Louisville Jockeys in hits.
