Dubois County Bombers Drops Game To Henderson Flash After Late Score

Dubois County Bombers lost the lead late in a 4-3 defeat to Henderson Flash on Friday. The game was tied at two with Henderson Flash batting in the top of the sixth when Chase Christie singled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run.

In the top of the fifth inning, Henderson Flash tied things up at two. Henderson Flash scored one run when Luke Scales singled.

Henderson Flash pulled away for good with one run in the sixth inning.

Matthew Ray took the win for Henderson Flash. The righthander allowed zero hits and zero runs over three and a third innings, striking out three and walking one. Logan Haslam and Dylan Turner entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief. Turner recorded the last two outs to earn the save for Henderson Flash.

Aidan Williams took the loss for Dubois County Bombers. The lefty surrendered one run on two hits over one inning, striking out one and walking zero.

Brandon Hunsaker started the game for Henderson Flash. Hunsaker went three and two-thirds innings, allowing two runs on two hits and striking out three Thomas King started the game for Dubois County Bombers. The righthander lasted five innings, allowing three hits and two runs while striking out six

Aron Busick went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead Dubois County Bombers in hits.

Henderson Flash tallied seven hits. Logan Lacey, Jacob Lester, and Scales each had multiple hits for Henderson Flash.
