Fulton Railroaders fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 9-3 loss to Henderson Flash on Sunday. Henderson Flash scored on a single by Caleb Niehaus in the first inning, a single by Clay Patton in the second inning, a double by Jacob Lester in the second inning, a error in the second inning, and a groundout by Brady Morse in the second inning.

The Fulton Railroaders struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Henderson Flash, giving up nine runs.

Henderson Flash took the lead for good with five runs in the second inning. In the second Patton singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run, Lester doubled on a 2-2 count, scoring two runs, an error scored one run for Henderson Flash, and Morse grounded out, scoring one run.

Nick Coleman took the win for Henderson Flash. The lefty went four innings, allowing three runs on four hits, striking out five and walking zero. Logan Haslam, Matthew Ray, and Luke Whaley all put in work in relief out of the bullpen, steering their team towards the victory.

Brady Mallow took the loss for Fulton Railroaders. The bulldog allowed six hits and six runs over three and two-thirds innings, striking out four.

Fulton Railroaders tallied one home run on the day. Charlie Ferbet had a four bagger in the fourth inning.

Tasso Foster went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead Fulton Railroaders in hits.

Henderson Flash racked up 14 hits on the day. Niehaus, Luke Scales, and Patton all managed multiple hits for Henderson Flash. Henderson Flash was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Andrew Lee made the most plays with 14. Henderson Flash stole seven bases during the game as two players stole more than one. Niehaus led the way with two.
