Fulton Railroaders lost the lead late in a 7-2 defeat to Hoptown Hoppers on Friday. The game was tied at one with Hoptown Hoppers batting in the top of the sixth when Carter Hood grounded out, scoring one run.

Brady Ginaven got the win for Hoptown Hoppers. The righthander went seven innings, allowing one run on eight hits, striking out 12 and walking zero. Cody Jones threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Seth Creasy took the loss for Fulton Railroaders. The pitcher surrendered five runs on three hits over five and two-thirds innings, striking out four.

Fulton Railroaders hit one home run on the day. Jackson Garrett had a long ball in the eighth inning.

Fulton Railroaders saw the ball well today, racking up nine hits in the game. Garrett and Tasso Foster all had multiple hits for Fulton Railroaders. Garrett went 4-for-4 at the plate to lead Fulton Railroaders in hits.

Hoptown Hoppers was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Luis Villalba had the most chances in the field with 13.
