Four RBI Day For Dong Joon Shin Brings In Win For Madisonville Miners Over Dubois County Bombers
Dong Joon Shin was bad news for opposing pitchers on Friday, driving in four on three hits to lead Madisonville Miners past Dubois County Bombers 12-9 on Friday. Shin drove in runs on a home run in the fourth and a groundout in the fifth.
Both offenses were strong at the plate as Madisonville Miners collected 14 hits and Dubois County Bombers 13 in the high-scoring affair
Dubois County Bombers got things started in the second inning when Braxton Templin singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.
Madisonville Miners pulled away for good with three runs in the third inning. In the third Christian Kallaher hit a solo homer and Connor O'Connell singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.
