4-Hit Day For Morse Earns Henderson Flash Victory Over Muhlenberg County Stallions
Brady Morse came to ballpark and meant business on Tuesday, tallying four hits and leading Henderson Flash to a 15-3 win over Muhlenberg County Stallions. Morse singled in the first, singled in the fourth, singled in the fifth, and singled in the sixth.
Henderson Flash got things started in the first inning. Morse singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run.
Henderson Flash scored four runs in the fifth inning. Morse, Logan Lacey, Andrew Lee, and Ethan Roberts each drove in runs during the inning.
Lucas Quezada led the Henderson Flash to victory on the pitcher's mound. Quezada went three and a third innings, allowing three runs on five hits, striking out one and walking one. Brandon Hunsaker and Lucas Litteral entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief. Litteral recorded the last three outs to earn the save for Henderson Flash.
Brody Niebrugge took the loss for Muhlenberg County Stallions. The righthander surrendered eight runs on six hits over three innings, striking out three.
Henderson Flash racked up 14 hits. Morse, Roberts, Crawford Courville, and Carl Lawson each racked up multiple hits for Henderson Flash. Morse went 4-for-5 at the plate to lead Henderson Flash in hits. Henderson Flash didn't commit a single error in the field. Morse had the most chances in the field with eight.
Garrett Causey led Muhlenberg County Stallions with two hits in three at bats.
