Full Count Rhythm nabbed the lead late in the game in a 7-3 victory over Clarksville WhirlyBirdz on Wednesday. The game was tied at three with Full Count Rhythm batting in the bottom of the eighth when Reece Holbrook drew a walk, scoring one run.

Clarksville WhirlyBirdz fired up the offense in the first inning. Carson Hepworth grounded out, scoring one run.

After Clarksville WhirlyBirdz scored two runs in the top of the fourth, Full Count Rhythm answered with two of their own. Clarksville WhirlyBirdz scored when Blaze Bell homered on a 1-2 count, scoring two runs. Full Count Rhythm then answered when Cooper Holbrook homered on a 0-1 count, scoring two runs.

Jack Thompson took the win for Full Count Rhythm. The righty went two innings, allowing zero runs on two hits, striking out two and walking zero. Marshall Raper threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Jay Watson took the loss for Clarksville WhirlyBirdz. The pitcher allowed two hits and four runs over two innings, striking out two.

Spencer Wilkins started the game for Full Count Rhythm. The righthander lasted six innings, allowing seven hits and three runs while striking out nine and walking zero Drew Horn started the game for Clarksville WhirlyBirdz. The righthander lasted five and a third innings, allowing four hits and two runs while striking out four

Full Count Rhythm smacked one home run on the day. Holbrook had a long ball in the fourth inning.
