Henderson Flash defeated Muhlenberg County Stallions 2-0 on Friday as four pitchers combined to throw a shutout.

The pitching was strong on both sides. Henderson Flash pitchers struck out 11, while Muhlenberg County Stallions pitchers sat down four.

Henderson Flash got on the board in the first inning when Logan Lacey singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.

One bright spot for Muhlenberg County Stallions was a single by Noah Phillips in the sixth inning.

Lucas Litteral earned the victory on the pitcher's mound for Henderson Flash. The pitcher lasted two and a third innings, allowing zero hits and zero runs while striking out five. Brandon Hunsaker, Logan Haslam, and Adam Weihe all put in work in relief out of the bullpen, steering their team towards the victory. Haslam recorded the last six outs to earn the save for Henderson Flash.

Noah Waltz took the loss for Muhlenberg County Stallions. The pitcher allowed six hits and one run over six innings, striking out three.

Henderson Flash tallied one home run on the day. Lacey put one out in the eighth inning.

Lacey led Henderson Flash with two hits in four at bats.

Muhlenberg County Stallions was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Kadin Ray made the most plays with six.
