Paducah Chiefs Roll Past Fulton Railroaders 10-0 in 8 Innings

Paducah Chiefs jumped out to the lead in the bottom of the second inning after Parker Price singled, scoring two runs, Kyle Hayes singled, scoring one run, an error scored one run, and one run scored on another play.

Paducah Chiefs extended their early lead with three runs in the bottom of the third thanks to RBI singles by Nathan Lang and Hayes.

Konner Myatt earned the win for Paducah Chiefs. The right-handed pitcher gave up four hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out four and walking one. Drake DeFreitas took the loss for Fulton Railroaders. The starting pitcher went two and one-third innings, giving up eight runs (six earned) on nine hits, striking out one and walking two. Connor Preisel tossed three innings of no-run ball for Paducah Chiefs in relief. The southpaw gave up one hit, striking out three and walking one.

Paducah Chiefs accumulated 12 hits in the game. Hayes and Price were tough to handle back-to-back in the lineup, as each drove in three runs for Paducah Chiefs. Price went 3-for-5 at the plate to lead Paducah Chiefs in hits. Lang and Will Gibbs each collected multiple hits for Paducah Chiefs. Paducah Chiefs turned one double play in the game. Paducah Chiefs didn't commit a single error in the field. Hayes had the most chances in the field with nine.

Garner Anderson went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Fulton Railroaders in hits.
