Henderson Flash Claim 7-2 Victory Over Paducah Chiefs
Henderson Flash beat Paducah Chiefs 7-2 on Wednesday at 2011 North Elm Street.
Paducah Chiefs were the first to get on the board in the fourth when a wild pitch scored one run.
Henderson Flash flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the fourth, scoring five runs on five hits to take a 5-1 lead. The biggest blow in the inning was a single by Edward Uschold after a 6-pitch at-bat that drove in two.
Logan Haslam earned the win for Henderson Flash. They allowed four hits and two runs over six innings, striking out six and walking one. Bryant Byrd took the loss for Paducah Chiefs. They went three and two-thirds innings, surrendering five runs on five hits, striking out four and walking two. Tre Rex collected the save.
Henderson Flash amassed nine hits in the game. Uschold led Henderson Flash with two runs batted in from the number eight spot in the lineup. They went 2-for-3 on the day. Wyatt Bowling, Nate York, and Uschold each collected two hits for Henderson Flash. Henderson Flash didn't commit a single error in the field. Brock Lummus had the most chances in the field with 10.
Colin McClure led Paducah Chiefs with one run batted in. They went 1-for-3 on the day. Kyle Hayes led Paducah Chiefs with three hits in four at bats. Paducah Chiefs were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Hayes had the most chances in the field with eight.
Henderson Flash will travel to Fulton Railroaders for a doubleheader next game on Thursday., while the Chiefs get an off-day.
