Howe opened the game for Madisonville Miners. The starting pitcher gave up four hits and zero runs over seven innings, striking out three and walking one. Connor Preisel started the game for Paducah Chiefs. The lefty surrendered five hits and two runs over six and two-thirds innings, striking out 10 and walking four.

Madisonville Miners's Troutman made the most of their chances at the plate. The number nine hitter led the team with two hits in three at bats. Britton and Fernandez each drove in one run for Madisonville Miners. Madisonville Miners were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Fernandez had the most chances in the field with 10.

Jaylon Johnson, Ayden Terry, Luke Dymond, and Kyle Hayes each collected one hit for Paducah Chiefs. Paducah Chiefs were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Dymond made the most plays with 12.

The Chiefs travel to Henderson on Sunday to face the Flash, while Madisonville Miners are off on Sunday and play at home on Monday against Fulton Railroaders in their next game.
