Henderson Flash Victorious Over Paducah Chiefs
Paducah Chiefs were the first to get on the board in the second when Nathan Lang hit a solo home run to left field.
Henderson Flash took the lead in the bottom of the third. Tyson LeBlanc homered to center field, scoring three runs, to give Henderson Flash the upper hand, 3-1.
Logan Haslam earned the win for Henderson Flash. The right-handed pitcher gave up two hits and one run over six and two-thirds innings, striking out five and walking one. Joe Peca took the loss for Paducah Chiefs. The lefty went five innings, surrendering three runs on three hits, striking out five and walking four. Cooper Chinn tossed one and two-thirds innings of shutout ball for Henderson Flash in relief. They surrendered one hit, striking out one and walking one.
LeBlanc provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Henderson Flash with three runs batted in. The infielder went 1-for-5 on the day. Ellis Hurt went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead Henderson Flash in hits. Andrew Lee led Henderson Flash with three walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, tallying seven walks for the game. Henderson Flash were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Colton Evans had the most chances in the field with 17.
Lang and Ben Brombaugh were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected two hits for Paducah Chiefs while hitting back-to-back. Lang and Brombaugh were a one-two punch in the lineup, as each drove in one run for Paducah Chiefs. Paducah Chiefs were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Luke Dymond had the most chances in the field with seven.
