Henderson Flash snatched the lead late in their 2-1 victory over Paducah Chiefs on Monday. The game was tied at one in the bottom of the sixth when Tyson LeBlanc doubled, scoring one run.

Both teams were strong on the hill. Henderson Flash pitchers struck out eight, while Paducah Chiefs sat down six.

Henderson Flash opened the scoring in the fifth after Aidan Mouton hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run.

Kyle Hayes grounded out, which helped Paducah Chiefs tie the game at one in the top of the sixth.

Logan Haslam earned the win for Henderson Flash. The starting pitcher allowed three hits and one run over six innings, striking out four and walking four. Konner Myatt took the loss for Paducah Chiefs. The starting pitcher went six innings, giving up two runs on five hits, striking out three and walking none. Pierce Herrenbruck collected the save. Dylan Turner pitched two innings of shutout ball for Henderson Flash in relief. They surrendered two hits, striking out two and walking none.

LeBlanc went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Henderson Flash in hits. Mouton and LeBlanc each drove in one run for Henderson Flash. Ellis Hurt collected two hits for Henderson Flash in three at bats. Henderson Flash turned two double plays in the game.

Hayes led Paducah Chiefs with one run batted in. The first baseman went 1-for-4 on the day. Ayden Terry and Brady Grabowski each collected two hits for Paducah Chiefs. Paducah Chiefs were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Hayes made the most plays with nine.

Next up for Henderson Flash is Game 1 of their semifinal series against the Paducah Chiefs in Paducah on Tuesday night.
