OVL Championship Series Game 2: Big Fourth Inning Leads Fulton Railroaders Past Henderson Flash

Dom Maldet drew a walk, scoring one run, Garrett Taylor drew a walk, scoring one run, Garner Anderson singled, scoring two runs, Jake Vitale singled, scoring one run, and Charlie Ferbet was struck by a pitch, driving in a run.

Fulton Railroaders opened the scoring in the third after an error scored one run.

Diego Duque earned the win for Fulton Railroaders. They allowed two hits and one run over six innings, striking out six and walking six. Alex Brew took the loss for Henderson Flash. The lefty went three innings, giving up three runs (two earned) on four hits, striking out two and walking one. Emillo Duque pitched three innings of shutout ball for Fulton Railroaders in relief. The reliever allowed one hit, striking out five and walking none.

Anderson led Fulton Railroaders with two runs batted in. The center fielder went 2-for-5 on the day. Fulton Railroaders had patience at the plate, tallying eight walks for the game. Maldet and Taylor led the team with two bases on balls each. Fulton Railroaders didn't commit a single error in the field. Maldet had the most chances in the field with 11.

Crawford Courville, Colton Evans, and Ellis Hurt each collected one hit for Henderson Flash. Ian Reagan led the team with one run batted in. Henderson Flash had a strong eye at the plate, accumulating six walks for the game. Reagan and Tyson LeBlanc led the team with two free passes each. Courville stole two bases.

Fulton Railroaders will travel to Henderson Flash for Game Three of the OVL Championship Series on Sunday.
