The Henderson Flash win 2024 OVL Postseason Tournament
The Henderson Flash are the 2024 OVL Postseason Tournament Champions!
With a 3-0 victory over the Fulton Railroaders in Game Three of the championship series on Sunday night in Henderson, the Flash secured their first OVL postseason tournament championship. The overall second seed coming into the playoffs, the Flash defeated the Paducah Chiefs, the tournament three-seed, in their semifinal series, two games to one game.
Congratulations to the players, head coach JD Arndt and his staff, owner and general manager Clay Bolin, and all of the Flash personnel and volunteers on an outstanding season and their championship win.
Congratulations to the Fulton Railroaders on their tournament run.
The Railroaders didn't quite shock the world with their playoff run, but they certainly shocked the Hoptown Hoppers and Madisonville Miners by knocking both teams out the tournament. The Railroaders entered the playoffs with the 5-seed, but promptly defeated the Hoppers in Hoptown in a single-elimination playoff game. After dispatching the Hoppers, the Railroaders sent the Miners, the regular season champion and top-seeded playoff team, home as well.
Congratulations to the Fulton players, head coach Ed Corniel and his staff, owner and general manager Scott Guymon, and all of the Railroaders personnel and volunteers on an exciting playoff run!
