The Hoptown Hoppers downed the Fulton Railroaders 8-5 on Sunday evening, June 28. The game was originally scheduled for Saturday, June 27, but was postponed until Sunday due to inclement weather that moved through western Kentucky all day Saturday. 

The win keeps the Hoppers atop the standings and extends their lead over the second-place Henderson Flash to 1.5 games. Henderson lost on Saturday to the Full Count Rhythm in Hendersonville, Tennesee, which dodged the weather system that rained out the other scheduled games last night.

We are back to a full schedule on Monday night, with the Hoppers traveling to Madisonville for a pair of seven-inning ballgames beginning at 5:00 PM local time, the Flash visiting the Railroaders in Fulton at 6:30 PM, and the Full Count Rhythm hosting the Paducah at Drakes Creek Park in Hendersonville at 7:05 PM.
