Louisville Jockeys Clinches Lead In Seventh Inning For Victory Over Owensboro RiverDawgs

Louisville Jockeys snatched the lead late in the game in a 12-8 victory over Owensboro RiverDawgs on Tuesday. The game was tied at eight with Louisville Jockeys batting in the bottom of the seventh when Austin Griffin singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.

Louisville Jockeys earned the victory despite allowing Owensboro RiverDawgs to score seven runs in the second inning. Braydon Mundy, Ethan Plyer, Cam Nichols, Braxton French, EJ Clark, and Nick Williams all moved runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.

Owensboro RiverDawgs opened up scoring in the second inning when Nichols doubled on a 3-1 count, scoring one run.

The bulldog lasted three and a third innings, allowing three hits and eight runs while striking out two. Tyler McClure and JJ Arbini entered the game from the bullpen, throwing three and two-thirds innings and one inning respectively.
