Louisville Jockeys snatched the lead late in the game in a 12-8 victory over Owensboro RiverDawgs on Tuesday. The game was tied at eight with Louisville Jockeys batting in the bottom of the seventh when Austin Griffin singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.

Louisville Jockeys earned the victory despite allowing Owensboro RiverDawgs to score seven runs in the second inning. Braydon Mundy, Ethan Plyer, Cam Nichols, Braxton French, EJ Clark, and Nick Williams all moved runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.

Owensboro RiverDawgs opened up scoring in the second inning when Nichols doubled on a 3-1 count, scoring one run.

Owensboro RiverDawgs knotted the game up at eight in the top of the fifth inning. Owensboro RiverDawgs scored one run when Nichols tripled.

Garrett Mathews led things off on the hill for Louisville Jockeys. Mathews went one and one-third innings, allowing seven runs on eight hits, striking out two, and walking zero.

Peyton Adkinson led things off on the pitcher's mound for Owensboro RiverDawgs. The bulldog lasted three and a third innings, allowing three hits and eight runs while striking out two. Tyler McClure and JJ Arbini entered the game from the bullpen, throwing three and two-thirds innings and one inning respectively.

Joey Humphrey led Louisville Jockeys with two hits in four at-bats.

Owensboro RiverDawgs collected 16 hits. Williams, Mundy, Nichols, Koy Carpenter, and Plyer all collected multiple hits for Owensboro RiverDawgs. Williams went 3-for-5 at the plate to lead Owensboro RiverDawgs in hits.
