Late Score Costs Muhlenberg County Stallions Against Louisville Jockeys

Sunday's game against Louisville Jockeys was a heartbreaker for Muhlenberg County Stallions, as they lost the lead late in a 6-3 defeat. The game was tied at three with Louisville Jockeys batting in the top of the ninth when Diond're Jacob's sac fly scored one run for Louisville Jockeys.

Louisville Jockeys got things moving in the first inning, when William Lybrook grounded out, scoring one run.

Muhlenberg County Stallions knotted the game up at three in the bottom of the eighth inning, when Conner Fries threw a wild pitch allowing one run across the plate for Muhlenberg County Stallions.

Fries earned the win for Louisville Jockeys. The ace surrendered zero runs on zero hits over one and one-third innings, striking out four. A number of pitchers entered the game as relief, with Robby Arnett, Payne Findley, Landon Dismang, and Lane Goetz all securing outs and ultimately the victory.

Kail Hill took the loss for Muhlenberg County Stallions. The righthander surrendered three runs on three hits over one inning, striking out one.
