Louisville Jockeys Jumps Out To Early Lead In Victory Over Bowling Green Pistons

Louisville Jockeys jumped out to an early lead over Bowling Green Pistons and took home an 8-1 victory on Friday. Louisville Jockeys scored on a home run by Jacob Adams in the first inning and a double by Jackson Vize in the second inning.

Louisville Jockeys knotted the game up at one in the bottom of the first inning, when Adams hit a solo homer.

Louisville Jockeys pulled away for good with four runs in the second inning. In the second Vize doubled on a 3-2 count, scoring three runs.

Jacob Price earned the victory on the hill for Louisville Jockeys. The fireballer lasted five innings, allowing two hits and one run while striking out six. Robby Arnett and Conner Fries entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.

DeOnte' Dotson took the loss for Bowling Green Pistons. The bulldog allowed seven hits and eight runs over six innings, striking out four.

Louisville Jockeys socked one home run on the day. Adams had a four bagger in the first inning.

Alex Yurt went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Louisville Jockeys in hits. Louisville Jockeys was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Max Latkovski had the most chances in the field with eight.

Thomas Barnhart led Bowling Green Pistons with two hits in two at bats.
