Madisonville Miners Can't Catch Up To Louisville Jockeys

Madisonville Miners fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 9-2 loss to Louisville Jockeys on Tuesday. Louisville Jockeys took the lead on a single in the second inning.

The Madisonville Miners struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Louisville Jockeys, giving up nine runs.

Louisville Jockeys scored three runs in the fifth inning. The big inning for Louisville Jockeys came thanks to a home run by William Lybrook and an error on a ball put in play by Austin Akridge.

Nate Tencza took the win for Louisville Jockeys. The ace allowed four hits and two runs over five innings, striking out two and walking one. Dawson Hope, Kaden Wise, and Ashton Deskins all put in work in relief out of the bullpen, steering their team towards the victory.

Brayden Taylor took the loss for Madisonville Miners. The righthander went five innings, allowing six runs on nine hits, striking out seven and walking one.
