Both pitching staffs had their hands full on Wednesday in a high-scoring affair where Louisville Jockeys bested Muhlenberg County Stallions, 17-6.

Louisville Jockeys secured the victory thanks to nine runs in the first inning. William Lybrook, Bailey Hale, Louis Hess, Mason Grant, Cade Moore, and Lybrook all drove in runs in the frame.

Louisville Jockeys opened up scoring in the first inning. An error scored two runs for Louisville Jockeys.

Payne Findley led the Louisville Jockeys to victory on the mound. The ace went three innings, allowing two runs on four hits and striking out three. Robby Arnett, Kaden Wise, and Jack Mackert all put in work in relief out of the bullpen, steering their team towards the victory.

Cole Cahill took the loss for Muhlenberg County Stallions. The southpaw went one inning, allowing nine runs on two hits.

Grant went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Louisville Jockeys in hits.

Kyle Hogwood led Muhlenberg County Stallions with two hits in three at bats.
